yea same , i picked her up and washed eggs off with a gentle hose , she had heart attack and died in my arms , was (well) over 20 , so thats sorted now , had cat flu all her young life that killed younger cats, but she got over it , we always joked if there was nuclear war only her and cockroaches would survive , she went through all her 9 lives over the years .I’d imagine a Spot-On flea treatment like Frontline would kill any maggots, but why is it covered in eggs.
We had a 17 yr old tabby that I found covered in eggs back in the summer. It was because she had basically given in to old age and was close to going to creep for the last time. I helped her on her way.
no short haired , dry around bum , just age and not cleaning i suppose ,Heard or pet rabbits rear ends getting fly strike but never a cat ,,has it got long fur and not cleaning itself ,,lots of wet mess will invite the wrigglers
Many many years ago ,,old boss used to chuck the sheepdog in the dip pit after the sheep,,good old coopers stuff ,,dog never ayled anything ,,can you mix up something in a squirty bottle and drench the areano short haired , dry around bum , just age and not cleaning i suppose ,
lol did that years ago , put cat in dip for fleas , nearly killed it , went blind for a month and had neurological issues for a while after , Difference is cats groom themselves so lick it off and ingest it , dogs dont , even dettol is deadly for cats same reason .Many many years ago ,,old boss used to chuck the sheepdog in the dip pit after the sheep,,good old coopers stuff ,,dog never ayled anything ,,can you mix up something in a squirty bottle and drench the area
We had a big family of cats like that that would survive everything thrown at them, had 4-5 really nice looking ones that were immune to everything, 1 had a litter of 4 lovely kittens, at 6 weeks old the mat cat woman who doesn’t leave her house at the small holding next door had all the kittens and the mother neutered without our consent 36 years the same family of cats have lived here and we’ve never seen a rat, now their gone and as I said to RSPCA and Cats protection they may as well all me shot now if they can’t breed, last I heard they were still trying to find out what society/vets captured and neutered young kittens as that was illegal in itself.yea same , i picked her up and washed eggs off with a gentle hose , she had heart attack and died in my arms , was (well) over 20 , so thats sorted now , had cat flu all her young life that killed younger cats, but she got over it , we always joked if there was nuclear war only her and cockroaches would survive , she went through all her 9 lives over the years .
