Either way seems it’s just unnecessary reporting so fingers crossed
No it's not.

Bio-security needs to be in the top of everyone's list today, and every day tbh.

In the 2001 outbreak I couldn't even get with district in Devon the outbreak was in let alone parish!

We disinfected the milk tanker on and off that Sunday morning, that tanker was then discovered to have travelled in and out if the same lane as the F&M case.

Forewarned is forearmed!

Is it rude to ask how you know?
It was put out on a WhatsApp group by a friend who is very well connected and who knows all too well how serious this is and would not mis-lead or say anything that they were unsure of.
How they got the information I have no idea, but it could have come from any number of routes including DEFRA, AHDB or NFU or possibly else where.

There's been an interim DEFRA statement now too stating preliminary test for F&M is negative

Norfolk show next week I think. Anyone still considering taking stock there now without this being confirmed as something else first need lynching.
I don`t think you`ve any worries there - hopefully it`ll prove negative but if the worse emerges they won`t be taking stock ANYWHERE in Norfolk - unless of course it`s all down to BORIS!!

Massive gathering of farmers just the day before at Groundswell, let's hope there was decent disinfection points at the exits
I doubt it. I nearly said something on the car sharing thread about sharing cars whilst covid cases are rising again............but knew I'd be poo-poohed.
