Footpath sign broken

We have a broken footpath sign by the farmyard. Is it the councils job or mine to mend or replace it?

Good luck with getting the council to do it though, it has taken over 2 years for them to do some signs around here.

We used to get the wooden ones stolen as fast as the council put them up. Sure some one was building a garden fence

I have heard that some children have been known to steal neighbourhood watch signs, some even have a collection
