Young herd first to fourth calvers mostly continental cows with a couple of Herefords. These are all quite large cows! Spring and early summer calving. Half of them have calved (all unaided) either to AI lim and blue or my native sweeper bull
Don't really want to split them as there is onlyn15! All very quiet cows
(Like really quiet)
Also have the replacement bulling heifers, would sell these too!
Sensible offers only please!
Sherewsbury area,
One year TB testing
7 years TB free holding

Further inquires invited

How many of the first calvers have calved?
how old are the cows?
How many of the cows are native?

Three of the first calvers have calved, one more to go.
As for age of the cows, most were born in spring 2012 then calved as three year olds so having second calving now! Although 3 are now 3rd calvers
7 native bred cows/ heifers,
8 continental

Would you keep these til their all calved ,wouldny want to travel near calvers , would pay keep ..
How much off £1k apiece will buy them ?

Yes I would keep until all calved if it helped, there is no super close ones tho! Although there might be by the time I've had them pre movement tested!

They went in to local mart last Saturday , One of the buyers is coming this week to look the rest of them . If he does not take them then they will go to the mart next weekend. Yours look very similar to ours( except our calved to pedigree Hereford bull ) . I would stick to your price and not give them away. As I said we averaged over £1300 each worst was £1000 best was just under £1500 .

Thanks again, yes I will stick to my price now, I just wasn't sure what price to ask, my calves are much younger than yours, oldest is one month now. Yours must have been really good young cows, as are mine
