I did have all the paper work for them.
From memory they are the same speed as the ag tractors and they also did a 5000 model.
the main thing they were done was to be legal on the highway as they had to have out board brakes and speedo even though the internal brake were better so they put out board discs on that was to satisfy the legal people at the time.

We had an 'industrial' ford 4000 that I think someone had made from a 455? digger. Anyway that had a 6x4 box in it rather than an 8x2 and top gear was really high!

You could buy a 4000 and then a 4600 with 6x4 gear box as a loader tractor from the industrial side and later Jewels of Bridge Water who were ford dealers made a Jewel Air tractor which had 6X4 gearbox and a Bristol 2 two compressor on the back and with a heavy duty loader on which was was used for road maintains company's when they could not get the old IH tractors.
