Ford 4600 dash lights

Hello, does anyone know what this light means on a ford 4600? It comes on when I turn the front lights on but not the rear or any other electrics. The battery is charging well and it's a new battery this spring.

High beam indicator

Isn't the high beam indicator a blue light on the indicator swich? That red light tells when the rear worklights are on on early 10 series Fords. If you flick the switch below the hazard light switch down,does it go off?

Dunno. On older Ford 4000's it's the charging light, looking at a newer 5610 manual, it's called " Plough lamp indicator light ".

Can't say I'm sure why it's on.

On our early 4600 that light is the charging/ignition light which comes on only if it's drawing too much current etc. As with the op, we have a newish battery and alternator in good nick so haven't had that come on in quite a while.

Bad earth somewhere? Chaffed wire? Auto electrics are not something I'm all that fimilar with .

Yes rear work light... if you look the switch is on! (even if the light isnt working???)

Thanks guys it is the rear lights, must have knocked it on by mistake. I put new lights on the rear and a new switch in another place. Never realised the front lights had to be on to use the rear ones.

Can anyone tell me what the far left light is? Mine is on and I can’t find any diagrams to tell what it is.

From left to right is charging light,air cleaner restriction,rear work lamps on and low oil pressure.
