Oh dear,it falls to me to bring up the thorny subject of porous blocks.Other than that and points mentioned above I think they are damn good tractors.Someone will be along soon to tell you otherwise.:rolleyes:

In the family we had a series1 that pulled like a train and a series2 that was only months older that was as dead as a door nail! Fondly remember the series1.

Back then we seemed to be able to cart 6 tonne loads of spuds with 2wd 6610s.now need 150 horse for 8 tonne and still get stuck in the mud.

handy tractors, thirsty noisey n horrible cab, nice simple transmission, do be aware it WILL go porus at some stage, was only £500 to get bored oun n liners fitted about 10 years ago, brother n myself dismantled n rebuilt it

They were all C reg. dunno what they changed. May have just been that we had the series 1 from new and had been worked hard.
