Been using the hydraulic arms this morning and all good. Just taken bale to some horsey folks and the quadrant lever won't move so the arms are now in loweted position. The lever has some free play but won't move so i'm guessing whatever it turns to work the hydraulics is stuck. Any info apprecistive and hoping it's an easy fix. Thanks

Just had a quick look in manual. I suspect either valve stuck or linkage problem and probably top off, but if your having a go, be careful as a couple of little bits can drop.

Sounds as though the linkage may have gone over center .take the dust cover off of the quadrant levers then you will see linkage ,it gets sloppy with wear I think the linkage only fits with little split pins.undo split pin then fiddle with tractor end and try to rotate it.
Good luck

That sounds a possibity, i was struggling to get the bale off the spike and pushed the lever right down as far as it would go. Much further than i would normally so it could have done that. Hope so, i'l have a look tomoz and report back. Thanks

Sorted, managed to knock the lever back and all good now. I noticed that the lever travels well past the metal quadrant tho. Should there be something to hold it against the metal plate and hence prevent this? There is a square hole in the lever . Thanks for the initial help (y)
