A friend had ask me if a farm force front linkage of a 7610 fit a 7840sle with out to much trouble altering and drilling bracket.
Yes it was he after a front linkage for a 7840 for 1 carrying his stock jet seeder and 2 snow ploughing.Ic it's the one on fb forr £500 then it now says sold.
Brackets are completely different and I think 7840 is wider too.
Probably better to watch for a 10 series one and take a profit on the 40?7610 bolster is wider than a 7840 about 10 or 20mm i think. Holes are in different places too . I know this as i bought a damaged front linkage off an 8340 cheap, and have plans to fit it to my 7610 when i get a spare 5 minuits !
I did think of that, but it's an opico heva linkage, and the arms fold back either side of the front bolster, so not much overhang on the front when folded up, I doubt I would get a 10 series linkage for £250 !Probably better to watch for a 10 series one and take a profit on the 40?
Everyone wants on e on their old Ford now.
They were changing hands for £500 but going up.I did think of that, but it's an opico heva linkage, and the arms fold back either side of the front bolster, so not much overhang on the front when folded up, I doubt I would get a 10 series linkage for £250 !
