Ford 7740 sle

Hi does anybody know why my7740 lift arms and auxiliary valve work better when the clutch is depressed some lift before but a lot more when the clutch is pressed

Explain bit more what model sl or sle, transmission 12x12 or 16x16, what hyd pump ccls or two separate one's quad mod or pre quad mod, have you got edc.

Thanks for your reply it is a SLE . transmission 16×16 hyd pump ccls quad mod year 95 seems to start the day reasonably well then asked the day progresses gets worse

So have you got manual lift or edc, do you get any warning lights when using clutch pedal return oil from power steering is used inside box so it might allow an increase in l/p oil for the ccls pump to work better, it should not affect it normally i would suggest getting a pressure and flow test done which should show condition of main pump and l/p....

thanks for that I will see if I can get a pressure test done on it and go from there
