Anyone tell me where the dual power solenoid is on a series 3 7810, the cable goes down the gear handle and in on top of the bell housing but can’t see the solenoid there are no lights coming on the dash when I move the switch but I have 12v at the switch, also Rev counter freakin’ out when in idle mode could read 3000rpm anyone any info thanks

This may help...

I'd guess the sensor on the end of the injector pump or the wire from it to the loom and to the tacho may need attention.

Ok thanks also the 4 wheel drive switch when it’s off the solenoid is energised and when it’s on the solenoid is off is this right, also I can’t find dual power solenoid anywhere the wire comes down gear stick goes under bell housing and is connected into main loom at front then I dono where it goes I’m lost

4wd is held out by voltage on solenoid. If fuse pops it drops into 4wd.
