Ford 7840 Hydraulic Fault Light

Hi All,
The hydraulic fault light is on, on Ford 7840 6 cylinder tractor, but hydraulics seem to be working fine.
Has anybody had this issue? Or any ideas why this might be?

EXACTLY WHAT LIGHT [LOOK IN YOUR BOOK] what pumps you got ccls or dual.

The lift status indicator on control panel in cab is constantly flashing but all hydraulics seem to work fine. It's not dual and has an sle gearbox. Thanks.

That could be a lot of things........ but not overly important if everything is still working. Any codes on the right side of the dash?

So have you got edc. ?, and if so is the symbol with book the one flashing, chances are you have also got electronic dash, if so when lift arms down should read zero all the way up 99, have you got anything flashing on dash. or as mentioned any codes come up..

The yellow light above the spool valve levers ?

Not much help but in 20 years of driving 40s I've never driven one that didn't flash and all worked fine.
