Ford 7840 won’t calibrate C1 and C2 packs

Got a pre quad mod 7840 and can’t get C1 and C2 packs to calibrate when the range lever is pulled into neutral.. not sure if it’s a switch fault I have had this before on other Tractors’s. Also keeps loosing the memory so got to constantly Keep calibrating the transmission.. thanks

Is it an SL? What error codes are showing?

From memory...
Pre quad they only Sle.
And I think you can only calibrate 2 clutch paks. Other two are self cal.
The you can adjust filling time.
Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.
And is in manual anyway

By the way.
If loosing memory it need repair because it has corroded PCB it will be only worse. Till its die.
Call me if you need more help or info.

As stated you can only calibrate C3-4, C1-2 is done by driving the tractor, to calibrate shuttle lever forward, main gear lever in 1-4 high/low lever neutral, oil must be working temperature, all electric's off, handbrake on and make certain no one is around and tractor is not facing any obstacle, you state it's losing memory how do you know ?, also what numbers are you getting on C3-4 at end of calibration.............

Have you taken any land out of production from last autumn?
