Ford 8210 - Putting in an 8340 engine

Hi, looking some advice. We're putting an 8340 turbo'd engine in our series 3 8210. Just wondering has anyone else done this and could you post a few photos as I would like to see what way the fuel tank and exhaust have to be altered to make this engine conversion work. thanks

Not much help but there was an article in Classic Tractor Mag a few years ago about fitting powerstar engines into older models.
Can't remember if they had an 8210, but definitely featured a 7610, battery box needed moving on it.
Might be worth digging out if somebody has a copy.

cheers fermerboy, I'll see if I can source a copy of the magazine. Someone has told me that an 8210 with a turbo fitted would be similar to what the 8340 engine will be. I think when you put on a turbo you need to alter the exhaust - has anyone any pics of an 82 with a turbo on it?
