TransmissionMy dad and I, are restoring a ford 3000 pre force, my dad thinks we have assembled the clutch wrong, but we cant see any other way to assemble it. When you push in the clutch is the pto supposed to be disengaged first or the transmission?
Surely the dexta had IPTO option so 3000 would haveHas it a dual clutch? ie live drive
If so,the transmission would be disengaged first.
If a single clutch, they would be disengaged together.
Don't think the 3000 had IPTO as an option(possibly had with selectospeed option).
Sorry yes of course quite correct live drive not IptoNo it hadn't.The Dexta had the option of live pto but not IPTO. Still had to floor the clutch before engaging it. AFAIK(but could be wrong) IPTO came in on the 4000.
