Ford ranger self locking

Anyone know how to turn off or cure the auto lock on a 2010 Ford ranger. After 30 seconds it locks itself with the keys in the ignition but not turned on. If you open the door and then shut it, it doesn’t seem to.

When the doors open can you not see any wires to remove then just lock it with the key

Look in the book and reset the key to default, sound like its a Ford smart key you can program... eg only open one door or only drive to a set max speed.

I used to leave an appropriate bit of wire in the back so I could brake in.
Never found how to alter locking. although shouldn`t if the interior light has come on.
My back doors didn`t always work the light so got caught out a few times, putting keys on back seat while i lifted something out

Usual problem is the interior light switch on the door not working. The idea is that you unlock the car by mistake as you walk away so it locks itself because the door didn’t open.

just done similar on a work truck and my old one was the same, current one..........not yet
