If you look at the date code the number 8 is the year C is the month 21 is the day
and B is the shift
If you look the unit is the day it was assemble then you have the trans code, rear axle code, hyd code that is the day they were made hope that helps

Serial number should be on the bell housing on the right hand side of the tractor. ( This photo is taken off tinternet to show matt the whereabouts of the serial no)

Got a 7610 series 3 here that will not run right drawing air I believe from the daft pipes around the filter and glass bowl. What do others do with these PITA pipes when they start to give trouble?

If the air leaks are before the Turbo it shouldn’t make any difference as to how it runs. The only issues are if the leaks are after the filter sucking in dirty air - again that shouldn’t alter how it runs though.
