Certainly as it got older it seamed to use more coal [emoji106]We had 2 6810s from the same place
They went very well too
Charlie who was the workshop foreman at the time liked to make sure tractors they sold went well

Thing is we've a 1490 hear never been any trouble, next door had a 4wd one that had 10,000 hours on it before they got rid, it had had rings in it but nothing else (bodge job) it's just down to luck st the end of the dayI was just referring to the scrap heap we were once unfortunate enough to own. Moved on to bigger and vastly better things now
Im sure it is. However we seem to have had a lot more luck with other brands. Despite them often been older and higher houred.Thing is we've a 1490 hear never been any trouble, next door had a 4wd one that had 10,000 hours on it before they got rid, it had had rings in it but nothing else (bodge job) it's just down to luck st the end of the day
They stopped making Browns for a reason at the end of the day, I couldn't do the contracting work I do with a David brown anywayIm sure it is. However we seem to have had a lot more luck with other brands. Despite them often been older and higher houred.
Me neither. The vast majority of our kit is way beyond the capabilities of the biggest DB they made. They stopped making Browns for a reason at the end of the day, I couldn't do the contracting work I do with a David brown anyway

Does it do 40k and have 100lpm hydraulics
Well it wasn't me!!!, Anything I said was related to the 1594 , that was demonstrated locally in the late 80's, when the said tractor was NEW, if you what to argue that fact, you can with the farmer who brought the Fiat instead. Time to move on John, change the record....

Credit given where credits due, the whole Case/1594 debarcle was started before I joined the TFF, you can go back and double check if you want, now just remind us , just who started it, guess what , wasn't me!, so get your facts right. The apple hasnt fallen that far from the tree in your instance obviously...
do you recall the start of this year when i was "on holiday" for a month, and didnt post on here at all
did the bickering stop, did it feck, when i got back it was clear there had been a month long pee take
so id suggest it is YOU, along with a few others, who should maybe change the record, especially given i made no mention of DB in this thread until prompted...
I'm probably partly to blame as I started the 1594 v 956 thread based on the rematch that classic tractor had the other year. It's all irrelevant now anyway cos as I've said before all 30 year old tractors are now well past there prime unless wrapped in cotton wool or extensively refurbished. And personally I wouldn't want any of them now. when I could have something that was designed only a decade or so later and is vastly better in every way.Credit given where credits due, the whole Case/1594 debarcle was started before I joined the TFF, you can go back and double check if you want, now just remind us , just who started it, guess what , wasn't me!, so get your facts right.

Oh no, we can't let you shoulder the blame all on your own...... I might have mentioned once, or twice, that Fords are quite good tractors....Probably
