Ford TW 25 Duel Power problem

Can anybody help? Ford TW 25, still using for ploughing. Duel power works sometimes, have replaced floor switch and solinoid valve, changes range when it feels like it. Hydraulic lift excellent, what needs to be the next stage of investigation? On last outing, when i tried to change down tractor momentarily stopped, then found gear and lurched forward. do a pressure check when hot easy to do if that's ok could be d/p problem, piston seals most likely, any leaks from split pin hole..

If it's like a 7810 might be the pipe to the pto pack leaking

Thanks, which piston seals? Will it need splitting tractor/gearbox to get at. Will first get it pressure tested, do you know the readings that indicate a good system? Regards

this will show where and pressure, it may be worth checking regulating valve but i have never had any problems with that. i would suggest if you do the job ,yes split first that you get someone who knows about the dual power to help..
