Fordson major halfshaft measurements

Repair job on a major halfshaft. I could do with an accurate measurement to the step where the outboard wheel bearing sits. I’ve done several over the years but I can’t find what it should be. Usually got a spare about but not at the minute.

I think I have one here, but the bearing race is still on it. This is off an early fordson major diesel. I think the performance super major might have been different. Not sure if I will get time to measure it tomorrow. Are you in a rush?

@keith armitage . Don’t worry about measuring that halfshaft. A mate of mine had the top cover off one when I called yesterday so I whipped the shaft out and measured it up. Thanks anyway.
