According to some on TFF, the NFU don't represent the majority of UK farmers views.

I don't think sugar has killed more people than cancer, but it won't be many years before it has.

Yudkin claims that sugar is driving obesity , which causes many issues. Yes it does, but sugar consumption has dropped over 50% in the last 70 years, while obesity rates have gone up

There are plenty of academics argue that artifcial sweeteners are to blame for this obesity, in that the body craves the sweetness , but with no sugar rush, the body does not stop craving, which naturally happens when eating sweet things like fruit , in nature.
