Found a Power Major in a shed. Gentleman had owned it from new. Came with rear digger.

Few things been changed over the years but by and large it’s pretty original.

Also found a 4 + 1 Dowdeswell to go behind TW.

Plus a few other bits.

Need new shed built quickly :(

Said this year I’d concentrate on what I had. Vicki wasn’t impressed.

All looks straight but well used. Super M wheels and mudguards at some stage......
Major doesn't look to have a second auxiliary valve fitted.Wonder how the digger gets a constant oil feed without the lift arms having to be at the top all of the time?

Yeah she’s definitely well used. Starts / runs well though. It wasn’t much money and I think will clean up pretty well. Hopefully.

A McConnell back actor? had one here that my father did a hell of a lot of work with, mostly drainage. Had that many oil leaks his coat was waterproof, would almost stand up on it's own.

If you go to shift it & it's works like ours ( maybe ours wasn't quite right like everything else back then ) it won't slew on it's own, you need to use one of the other levers along with it to make it slew.

Back actor will be sold. We’ve had one, no desire for another

Reg value is irrelevant. It’s the tractors history so wouldn’t be removed if I could.

Collecting everything this weekend so will post better pictures
