Hi I cant belive,a long dream..i bought a new 718 profi plus nature greene today !! its in dealers yard with 600 65 28 trelleborg in front and 650 65 42 rear, they are going to put on a alo 6 loader and some gps before delivery.
impressive turn cirkel on that tractor.. but i wounder if it will be bether with 540 65 30? and bether space for the loader? dealer is not shure maybe the 600 tyres can hit the loader when turning and the loader is low? so i can change front tyres for free before delivery. it will be used regular brackets, not extendet to put the loader longer forward.
on field work the 600 is maybe best, and on road/ frontloader work,t 540 s is best in my head...i will use it for everything.,but prefere the 600 s if its possibel and dont eat up remarkebel turn capasity compare to 540. not hitting the frontloader. anyone here have any experience?

its not design line, locks like its easy to take of the grill and maybe paint it anyone her know the ral code they use on design line? the side airpanels are they cromed or are do they have same collor as front grill?

Have a 724 with 600 on the front the turning circle is as good as the 720 with 540 front tyres it replaced. My contractor has a 724 with 710 back and 600 on the front with a loader I haven’t heard any complaints and it looks to turn as sharp as tractors without a loader.

Did you move the stops on the tractor with 540s tho? we've a tractor on 600s and one on 540s and there's a big difference in how much more lock I can get with the 540s by screwing in the turn stops

Both tractors came new set up by the dealer. I never touched the stops. Always been very happy with the turning circle. Much much better than my 6250R.

Not turning circle related but if you can get away with the 540 tyres they're a lot cheaper to replace in the future I've just been pricing 600 r28 fronts it's a lot of money compared to 540 r30

I changed from a Fendt 720 with 650x42 on the back and 540x28 on the front to a 724 with 600 front and 650x38 on the back. It is noticable how much lighter it treads pulling the drill. I am sure the larger volume tyres are worth the money.

track widt front1950mm ,it turned so the 600 tyres almoust tuched the frame,i dont know but with 540 it shoud be 6cm more spase on the inside and posibilyti to adjust the stops so the 540 s almoust tuching the frame? i dont know if it will be any huge diffrents on turning circel or if its good for the front axel..if 540s adjusted to maximum it shoud be the same problem with hitting the loader asthe 600 today.. have you notised any diffrens in floating /pulling difrens on field work with 600 compared to 540

We’ve got Fendt with loaders, same tractors one with 540 fronts other 600 fronts. Yes 600 are better in field but a bloody pain if doing a lot of loader work round yard. Larger surface area makes it hard on steering. Depends on the workload I’d say, always chose 540 for majority of loader work. These at Xeobibs mind..

No they don’t touch on mine either and it has a great lock!

What I’m saying is with a loader on lifting heavy loads on a hard surface doing multiple tight turns, it is not as happy as the one with 540 fronts.

We have a front reeler on it & turning on hard surfaces is no problem at all & it will be as heavy as a loader

It’s not the weight.. it’s the leverage. Two quadrants of silage or 4 hay/straw un loading trailers, you have no counter balance on the back. The bales are a long way out compared to front links.

And for the third time  It doesn’t have problems turning :banghead: It turns fine, but is heavier on the steering than the one with 540 fronts :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::scratchhead:

I think the compound of the rubber in the tyre And also the pressure makes a huge difference. I used to have a JD 7930. This spent most of its time on a tanker, the layout of the farm means lots of road work. Trelleborg tyres seemed very “grippy” so when you were turning you could feel the tyre grip the road and there was a delay to the tractor turning. We changed the tyres to bkt, wanted to spend less money as the tractor was definitely going. The tyres were the same size run at the same pressure but they did not grip the concrete and tarmac in the same way and it could not be felt through the steering.
