Frozen hen eggs

Collecting the eggs this morning a couple had frozen and split the shells.
Can I assume that all frozen eggs split or will there be others that don't show up in this way. If so is there a way of telling if an egg has been frozen.

Weather like this is the only time I am happy to find one of the hens has gone broody. Don't think it will do an egg any good to have been frozen, use them up quick, treacle sponge is good at this time of year.

Use ? I sell them, and don't want to sell bad eggs.

Try a candling lamp, I imagine if the egg is frozen the air gap will have closed up before the shell cracks, the white will, I believe stand freezing, but the yolk won't.

Spin them, put your finger on them, then lift it off, if it continues to spin contents are not solid.

That's just nature, given some artificial light they would still be at it.

Mine are still laying like their lives depended on it and to cap it all ,got some chicks popped out 3 days ago
