Sales rep in today promising the world.

At present I'm getting oils and greases from here and there, would be good to deal with the one supplier. Like the 'no mess' grease gun.

Anyone use them?

I use them for grease and lubricant sprays.

Get all oils from tractor dealer to keep warranty right.

Few times I've priced fuchs and dealer for oil dealer been cheaper.

Forget published prices. The only price that matters is the discounted price that the rep gives you.
Fuchs is a top German company that has blending facilities in the UK, having taken over several UK blenders, including Silkolene at Belper. Top quality products.

I find that ACT tends to be substantially cheaper for Fuchs, which is all they sell [and have done since the 1960's when it was Silkolene] than I've ever had quotes from the local major trade distributor, but it could be that I haven't talked to the right person there. Or it could be that they only want to sell to the motor trade in higher volumes.

Are ACT branded oils Fuchs oils then?

Thank you. Nice to know the real brand and inspires confidence. Have previouly bought from ACT at very sensible rates but you wonder how it pays to brand it yourself without putting it out to tender and going for the cheapest possible product rather than quality. Knowing it's Fuchs changes that a bit.
