Fullwood Crystal feeding

Would anyone be able to put in simple steps how to check calibration on the feeders? I know you can tell it to dispense 1kg then check the actuary weight but can't for the life of me remember.

Okay go into configuration menu. Go into feed falling button. Select calibrate all feeders, feed falling button again. Feed should dispense. Weigh then adjust either individually or individually according to weights.

ive never needed to change mine, they either work or don’t, I drop 1.25kg to see where there may be a problem.
Is it the auger master feeders you have?

When I had the auto ID fitted the dealer left them feeding 1.8kg per kilo!! In the end had to calibrate them myself!

It's recommended to calibrate every load of meal, as a variation in density if the nut can make a difference. Id calibrate maybe once it twice a year or more if i thought there was a difference in the silo totals

That's the biggest problem with the feed charts I find too. I have a New Calved group I flip them into if they are going into the dump bucket for a week or two, with just an average allowance. It would be much simpler if the software had the ability to log discarded milk, even tap it in quickly from the meters. And what's with those Fullwood meters? Our Parlour is around 5 years old yet the meters look like they came from the 1980's. And Crystal itself looks like it's straight out of 1990.
Ours are 20 yr old & I,ve never thought of them as old looking but they are very accurate but also expensive to mantain
