On my plot of land which is black volcanic soil, and has been not well looked after as I’ve only had farm 2 years and was leased out for that period.
I have been looking at the Johnson su bio reactors and the overall science of fungi dominated soil instead of bacteria.
question is soil testing for fungi and microbes etc? What levels should I be chasing, what’s good what’s bad etc.
I’m not wanting to go down the chemical and synthetic fert path and all the problems that come with it, I will still have to use them on occasion as the research says still need some elements added.
there’s a lot of information for cropping but not so much for permanent pastures, getting the fungi tea into the ground etc
