With all the uncertainty around labour availability of growers in the horticulture, I wondered how people are overcoming it.
I know that there are people who have furloughed from their ‘normal job’ and have been volunteering to help, but I'm unsure as to whether this has this bridged the gap? Obviously some businesses are taking to flying over workers from Eastern Europe but has anyone had any success with those that are offering to volunteer?
