Future of first milk

I hear that FM are offering new recruits in the Midlands a years holiday on capital contributions . I think that might anger those who are still paying 0.5ppl .

Can't say I would be much upset really.
One years holiday isn't much.
So long as the eventual aim is for parity with existing members within a reasonable timeframe.
Reading threads about Arla, if I understood correctly. Capital levels can differ widely and they don't appear too fussed?

I think that applies to the "New" Preference shares only.

I think you will find that the new prefernce shares are the capital you have put in over the last 2 years !! I think the C preference shares relate to the profit made on the sale of the Wiseman shares and these must be sold or will be lost with in 2 years of leaving FM.

The c shares represent members capital contribution and the "new" shares are derived from Wiseman's.

We left in 2013 and 18 months we were waiting for a refund of our cap contribution, was then told it was delayed and there is nothing we can do about it and it could carry on being delayed for as long as FM need, awaiting a phone call from FM now to see how to go about selling this piece of paper we bought for £28000, anyone want it?

Amen to that brother, very, very well played. Who r u with now? I'm not paying into it either! Got preference shares for a few dollars!

County Milk but converting to organic, supplying Omsco starting in November. Reckon we are around 100k better off than if we stayed with FM in 3 years on 1.2million litres/year.
