Garage modification

Looking at making more headroom in this garage, what are people’s thoughts would it be okay to put a beam in where the red line is and remove everything underneath ?
Just doing the one bay and not all of them

No chance , will need to put in a portal , easiest ,a lighter weight one either side of existing

i agree a post up each side and a portal over then remove the lattice you want out the way ,, i gess cause you only doing one that you need the hieght for a car ramp

If you don't want a portal then put another frame under it, with extra x braces?

I'm no engineer but our shed frame is like that from new and hasn't fallen down yet.
