The beeb has gone full Pravda.
if he tweeted in support of this bonkers legislation they wouldn’t have a problem with it.
Fiona Bruce was attempting to justify Stanley Johnson breaking his wife’s nose on question time last night and the free speech brigade has no problem with it

Thank-you.
Is he offering his salary to pay indefinitely for B&B accommodation or something?
I'm completely aware we are talking about human beings here, but it surely has to be made unappealing for largely economic migrants to pay criminal trafficking gangs, in order to have a punt at getting in illegally?

He is an prominent BBC personality who is meant to be impartial, he wasn't so has to go, he hasn't even apologised which makes it much worse these days.
Apologise for what?

Interesting the BBC said in their statement he broke their guidelines - I'd like to know which one?

Who's next?

David Atttenborough on Climate Change?
Lord Sugar on strikes?
Brian Cox on Brexit?

Stopping illegal immigrants is the same as the Nazis gassing jews
He didn't mention Nazis or gassing or Jews. He wrote:-

"There is no huge influx. We take far fewer refugees than other major European countries. This is just an immeasurably cruel policy directed at the most vulnerable people in language that is not dissimilar to that used by Germany in the 30s, and I’m out of order?"
