Gator 7 pin trailer plug

It seems stupid to me that our Gator that we bought new in 2014 doesn’t come fitted with a trailer plug!! Granted we only use the trailer round the farm and not on the road, but I went to put trailer on the other day and thought I’d have a look to see where the plug was as I might have a job that requires going down the road and I couldn’t see one!! Seems so silly to me.

Called up the local dealership and was told that to have one fitted they need to strip off everything (cab included) to fit the kit they supply! Anyone know of a way for me to hook one up myself? Don’t want the hassle and what would be a huge expense!

We just went in to the loom , with scotch locks where the back hinges on the right hand side, that was on 2008 hpx , works fine.
Must admit , I think it should part of road light kit!

You can get an adapter (spelling) from local motor factors.

Our dealer fitted ours with a 7pin plug on its first service took probably an hour to do.
