Looks like it's been called. Not surprised after this mornings news about inflation. Rishi probably seen it as his best chance.

Every single one of them are out of their depth, only silver lining I can see is when the pound tanks imported food will get dearer, which will be fine until we need fuel. Being honest I wouldn't mind it all staying the same for a few years, we seem to be rumbling on ok inspite of the government.

The pound tanked after the Brexit referendum result and has hardly recovered since (discounting the Truss 'blip'). Do you really think it will drop further should Labour get in?

New Labour's anthem, was quick thinking by someone to get themselves to the top of Downing Street with their ghetto blaster. Wont be voting Conservative or Labour, but am proud to be in a country where we can do that sort of prank without being carted off and given a beating.
What are you on about Lady PP....

Given the amount of crap that's going on in the world and within our own borders, I personally don't think it was a wise move. Government is essentially shut down for 6 weeks and the new lot won't have much time to do anything useful before they all bugger off on holiday. Would of been better holding off until the autumn in my opinion.
But doesn’t Rishi always make tw@ttish decisions

Dunno, historically the pound has been weaker under labour. Most of the issue with Lab for me is what are the actually going to do, does anyone know? What is their financial policy? What is their agricultural policy? If the shitshow in wales is anything to go by things are unlikely to improve. I think the uncertainty will probably do more damage than the colour of the government.

No idea who Steve Bray is but I was listening to 5 live and could hear the PM loud and clear with the music very much in the background. Things can't be too bad with the country if we are getting uppity about a pop song.
