There are some available reports on the protests, they all reference taxes on fuel but no other motives for protest,

Do you believe there are other reasons for the protest?

Quite. There have been posts on here about 'it all kicking off in Germany' for weeks, still waiting for someone to explain specifically what it is they are complaining about other than loss of their equivalent to red diesel.

rules and regs gone in to pyton mode
a 60 billion hole having to be filled by xtra taxes on self employed and farmers

whoever thought bring Ukrainian into nato was a good idea
should re think
a couple o hundred k lives lost on that one
as for letting them into the eu

cammy from the sheep game has been out there the last few days , a guy he interviewed this morning listed a few things they were protesting about , one was a 5% reduction in there cropping area
He said they had support from
All walks life not just farmers the construction folk joining in as well.

It's been a culmination of rules being enforced. The diesel 'subsisdy' removal is just the latest of years of increased regulation.

Straw that broke the camels back or tip of the iceberg. One or the other.
