Getting concerned

I supposing looking at the positives... if it does ever get dry enough to get going the moist soil isn't going to wear the plough points out very fast...
I was thinking that this afternoon. This field can normally be very abrasive on points. It’s called the gravel hole field and was ploughing quite nicely today, but it’s now raining quite hard on it. I’m gambling that it’ll dry up again .
if this field won’t drill, It really is game over for this year .

I sincerely hope you are right.im getting a bit concerned about the amount of rain.most of my wheat is on heaviest land on farm and was ploughed early to weather.rest still to be ploughed and another bit ploughed ten days ago and was to drill the next day but I relied on weather forecast that was wrong.not had the best of harvest either and it does tend to get me down a bit.16mm in last 24 hours and still raining hard.

6 months till end of drilling. What's the rush. Late drilled even to February always did us better than mauling it in now. Let the rubbish germinate, let the slugs and aphids starve. Wait, wait, wait. Let the pests burn themselves out. Bypass the big spends. Seedtime and harvest shall never fail.

If it does then we have nothing in this world to fear ;)

tipped out 6mm sat morning
6mm sunday morning
6mm this morning
I’m guessing that this afternoon and evening will give me best part of another 15 mm to tip out tomorrow morning ,

Reckon it’s gane over till Dec now and I do not like drilling in Dec , takes to long to come through , better of hoping for a frosty jan for a dry feb
