Could do with some rain on the forecast, tho we had 13mm last week it will soon be gone, luckily fert was spread before the rain so fert should be where its neaded.
Spring barley is up and looking okay but still needs to come on the marl banks
Spring beans are up but a bit thin where the rooks wouldn't move on,
Linseed in the ground over the weekend, will need rain to get it going

Had 9.5mm in 1/2hr this afternoon. It was a mixture of hail and rain, but still welcome as it will help beet to get going and freshen other crops up. The joys of farming on sand.
