Getting into milking/relief milking

Evening gents/lasses,

I'm a 29 year old third generation son of dairy herdsman who was warned out of farming by my dad when I was 16, and its been a constant thing to look at getting into milking. I'm based in Cirencester and wondering if anyone had any advice on what I can do to get the ball rolling.

Social media for sale/wants local to you will have people looking and you could put your details on. Local ag merchants, vet and cattle market notice boards. Generally there’s plenty farms looking for extra milkers. Once you get going there’s good money to be made. Timekeeping cows and farmers don’t want change. Good luck

Not that much dairy in the Cirencester area, a bit farther south near Malmesbury/Chippenham there are a few. Try contacting the George Vet group, they may have some contacts for you.
