I've only just realised the other day my Glastir Entry contract expired Dec 2018. I was never offered a new contract and had forgotten it was due to expire and only realised it the other day.
Enquired about no new contract had been offered and have been told anyone who was in Glastir Entry only is not offered a new contract. Quite shocked by this - been doing environmental work on this farm for 15 years and now can't get on a scheme.
So with all my hedges that have been left to grow bigger and awkward, the access bridleways, streamside corridors and fenced off woodland it pretty much is unwanted now. Seems nuts to me - anyone in a similar situation?
