Everything is a lot easier when you have that amount of money

Whilst the farm benefits indirectly with fences being fixed and leys being replaced when trashed - the farm itself doesnt charge a rent for the festival...

Is what I remember him saying at a talk I went to once. I know his neighbours charge a rent though.

When the sun goes down tonight I will be able to hear it from my back door, just the bass thuds. Its 30 miles from here!!!

He did have a GEA robot rotary parlour, not sure if its still there or not.

He uses a big tractor mounted high powered magnet to go over the ground after the festival to pick up any metal left. Mainly tent pegs apparently.

I know the story is that he doesn’t earn much from it directly. But I was told (can’t guarantee its true though) that he owns the security company & also the company that supplies the fencing & so on.
There has to be a few quid coming in from somewhere when you commission port hole style windows for your milking parlour. A friend made them. Machined from lumps of phosphor bronze. I was told at the time the price, it shocked me.
