  • European and US wheat futures remain near contract lows, with MATIF May trading at contract lows just before expiry.
  • During last week CBOT soybean prices traded lower in the days following the USDA report, against information that export sales were under most trader’s expectations.
  • Corn prices remain dominated by physical surpluses in the major exporting countries, and it is believed that any sustainable rally will have to be driven by a Northern Hemisphere weather issue.
  • The UK will generally be bright and sunny today, with the exception of some rains forecast across parts of Scotland.
