my understanding is fallow period is from1st jan ends 30th june after which you can do as you please whilst maintaining the land in a productive state ,if not sure having read the notes for guidance why not give them a call on monday recording the time of day, who you spoke to, what they said ,cos its all well and good listening to some unknown guy on here or your own possible doubtful understanding of reading the blurb ,there is too much at risk

Diff if ya Fallow is part of HLS/ELS then you cant spray it off until 1st of August & then no cultivation's until 15days later
FFS what a stupid set of rules
its a trap , in a year or so the rules will change to this for all fallow as they will say its the way forward for whatever reason, same as the extension of the catch crop dates altering and making it more difficult and less useful

Iirc you can still spot spray BG in fallow. Although the rules change so often I could be wrong.

Where is that rule published? No plant protection products during the fallow period, end of.

Just spray it on 31st Dec, top any "green cover" . Classic rule change example. I'm led to believe that you can spot spray BG in mid tier fallows. It's very confusing. But all my fallows are on temporary grass.
