Couldn’t agree moreIt would help if less people sprayed it Willy nilly while posting on social media about “liquid sunshine” . Honestly it makes me cringe as most do it to save a week! Very very bad image
Have you evidence of this anecdotal willy nillying ?It would help if less people sprayed it Willy nilly while posting on social media about “liquid sunshine” . Honestly it makes me cringe as most do it to save a week! Very very bad image

Even when applied just to speed up harvest whilst the residues can be found in the end product?I think it’s fine for farmers to use chemicals legally personally, and don’t berate them for doing so.

Its either safe or not, using less dont make it safer
Think you can find residues in everything now.. it’s the testing that’s improved not the concentration..Even when applied just to speed up harvest whilst the residues can be found in the end product?
And have you evidence that they have used it irresponsibly? But they have a duty to use it responsibly.
Whilst it may be legal currently, wreckless over use or misuse will only see tighter regulations for all in the end
Using less actually does make it safer. It lowers the levels of exposure

I’m quite aware, being regulated and approved to use it!That's not how regulation works.
You have to prove you've used it responsibly
Easy to peach from sunny Suffolk! Invaluable tool in the West and north. Saves a fortune in drying costs, massively lowers our carbon footprint. Straw fresher and fitted too less problems with stock health than mussty stuff mid winter. I take it those who object to it pre harvest don't use multiple doses pre drilling to try and control blackgrass? All arguments for and against have been stated numerous times before. It would help if less people sprayed it Willy nilly while posting on social media about “liquid sunshine” .
