You can’t run them through like formaldehyde, they have to stand in it for a few minutes

I use both, depending on want your treating and leave then stood in it for 5 minutes. It helps with lambs if you put some straw in the foot bath to get um in if you not running any ewes in with them

If you don't already have them, have you a means of making something like stop gates either end of the footbath? Put a layer of straw in the bottom of it (or strong upholstery sponge) to make a mat that lambs find easy to stand in for the 5 minutes needed to coat the hooves.

All takes time, as ever, but I've found it's a good product when there's a lot of scald about.
