Strong demand for pigs this week, they have already taken next weeks from me and are wondering if I have more.
I know that demand may evapourate next week as it usually does but the last few years there hasn't been a trace of this enthusiasm for extra pigs.

Some thing for the beef farmers to look forward to .Trouble is there aren't enough alternative outlets now, they know they are going to get our pigs no matter what they pay. Why would they offer more?
They will start offering the cost of production contracts again soon..........you know the ones they pulled out of 18 months ago.
