Hello,
I am a visual artist, I have depicted plant in my work from time to time, recently finishing a work featuring a Grain Hopper.
I have been approached to research another image of an Alvan Blanch DF115 Grain Drier, although I have three photos of the Grain Drier being dismantled, and transported, I am enquiring if anyone might know of the whereabouts of a DF115 in situ where I might see it and photograph or make sketches.
Also , if you know of any locations with DF115 Grain Driers or have images of them I would be much obliged for any info to help me get a better sense of the structure and scale.
Many thanks

Depends where you are. I know of one of those or similar dryers near me in Suffolk, I am certain I can persuade owner to let you have a look.
There are a few round the country

Thanks Exfarmer, distance is not a big problem but my schedule is a bit seized up so it could be two or three weeks before I could get there, please don't let this put you off, I am very appreciative and look forward to any further information to help my research, thanks JP

Petition: Temporary Ban on agricultural use of sewage cake

In order to protect our land, we’re seeking a temporary ban of the agricultural use of sewage cake until better testing and treatment of waste can be proven. We call on all farmers after this harvest to refuse to accept any more until things change.

Some research suggests that the contamination of land is far more serious than just heavy metal build ups. There is an increasing amount of micro plastics and forever chemicals appearing in sewage cake. We think testing for these when it leaves the processing plants isn’t adequate, and that processing needs to adapt to be able to remove these contaminants.
