Grain pusher

To date we've managed with a telehandler and bucket to push up grain in what was once a cattle shed. Now I'm wondering whether we should invest in a proper grain pusher, though still concerned about the roof damage a pusher might do in the wrong hands.

What are the pros and cons, and does anyone have any recommendations as to the best pusher for a 4t lift telehandler?

Many thanks

We bit the bullet and bought a pusher 2 years ago, completely transforms the job. Faster, easier, more efficient, and shoves it as high as you like. Can't think there will be much between all the brands. Don't want too many flat bits for grain to sit on. Once you have one you'll wonder why you didn't before. Like all machines now, the potential for abuse and damage just gets bigger all the time, just handle with care.

Schuby. Thanks for the feedback, which is all very useful. I suspect we'll make do for the rest of this harvest and invest in time for Harv 14. We're currently looking at the Albutt with the tubular frame as, like you, we're conscious of not having too many grain traps.

Hope you're harvest is going well.

Agriweld do a 18m telescopic one if you need serious height(y) you can see it on their facebook page, you must need a big loader though. We have used one for a few years now and would not be without it, just feels wrong now trying to push up with the bucket.

I have a Stronga pusher ,really good and well priced when bought 3 or 4 years ago, also have a few of their buckets.
However when I wanted a bucket brush last year Stronga were so f .....g miserable and awkward I thought sod it and bought a Slewtic who couldn't have been more helpful and competitively priced
