I had a fairly good FA inspection - just got picked up on the fact that I didn’t record the type of detergent/sanitiser I used in my temporary grain store as per standard ST.J :
If livestock buildings are intended for use as crop storage or temporary holding facilities they must be thoroughly cleaned, power washed and sanitised with a combined food grade detergent/ disinfectant at least five weeks prior to use for storage
In reality I washed everything down using tfr detergent, thoroughly rinsed and used food grade sanitiser but I no longer have the label to record it, and in any case it was only sanitiser and not detergent.
I’m having difficulty finding a list of suitable products (pref Defra approved as that was mentioned also) - the only promising looking links on the web don’t work.
Are there any lists of suitable products out there, or maybe suggestions for good suppliers of a suitable product?
Thanks!
