Grain store/ general purpose shed

Hi everyone I'm currently in the process of getting quotes for a grain store and I'm just wondering what you all think its likely to cost the shed would be 105' long 45' wide and 20' to the eaves a 20ft roller shutter door in one end and concrete panels 8ft high around it, we might also put a wall across the back 2 bays and put a 15' door in the side and have another storage area or possibly a workshop that's 45' x 30' if that makes sense, 6 inches of concrete on the floor should be alright or is it best to go a bit deeper by the door?
Anyone got any idea of price?
Very rough floor plan, oh and spelt interior wrong

The shed will be plenty big enough for my needs and we've got planning for it as well, maybe a wall splitting the length of the shed would be handy as well but not crucial at this stage

Hi

Give us your email and post code and we can send you a quote, we need the post code for structural calcs due to CE marking.

Cheers

Personally I would make it 45x100 and use 20ft bays, or you could do 4x20ft bays for the grain store and then 2x15s for the workshop. 20ft bays will be cheaper.

Also, if you want to put a side door in that last bay you will struggle to get it wider than 13ft if the bay is 15ft.

Finally I would say add a couple of feet to the height, cost will be very minimal, and you wont ever think its too high for your use, especially with the door on the side.

Price wise, I would imagine you would be looking at roughly £25k for the shed, £6k erection, £11k for concrete panels, £4.5k for the 2 doors.

Would agree with that especially the height bit.
12t trailer pretty much touches the haunches between stanchion and rafter of 20ft to eaves shed when tipped and trailers only ever going to get bigger in future. Couple of feet would be well worth it.
Would make concrete panels 10ft rather than 8ft high while at it as well.

Maybe it's just me but I always like the door in one side of the cable end so you have a large area to the one side of the door thats usable instead of having a small area on both sides. Plus if you wanted to load a lorry indoors it keeps the lorry hard to one side so yo then have more room to turn in to load it
