Is it still possible to get parts for a Grammer LS95H1/90 AR seat. Seat is very rocky forward and back and if you hit a bump you get a fair jar of it
Are they worth doing up or should i be looking at getting a new base unit.
What would the base unit part number be or does anyone have a parts list
cheers

Pull the plastic rivets off the bellows and have a look.Thomas Scott seating do parts but not cheap.just fixed one here by making some new pins from bolts and cutting out old ones with grinder ,welded in new.just need to be careful of airbag and pipes.remove from cab first!yours sounds similar.

I did one last week. New plastic rollers from Thomas Scott (about £10 all in) and replaced the pins and bushes with new bits made up on the lathe and welded in. The whole scissor joint was worn out, as it happens the (steel) rollers were fine. I bought plastic to replace as a lot cheaper and it's an old tractor which will be scrap before the seat's worn out now. Had to dismantle the whole seat to its component parts to do a decent job and now it's as good as new. Just allow plenty of time because it's not an easy job, and take plenty of photographs as you go as it's tricky to remember how it all goes back together! I'd allow a day to do the job but a new seat is about £1000 so worth doing.
