Grand Solar Minimum

For quite some time I have suspected that the "climate change" debate is being controlled by political powers more than true science. I've taken an interest in listening to both sides and hope to do a video showing both and let people come to their own conclusions. In my research, I began following several climate scientists who are warning of the coming Grand Solar Minimum. Obviously this has and will have a huge impact on agriculture all over the world. Are people talking about this? Or is the "settled science" of global warming drowning out the concept of mini ice ages and descending polar vortexes?

To me, just an average hick, not a professional farmer, it seems that we should stop arguing about greenhouse gasses and start building more greenhouses.

BTW, Youtuber Ice Age Farmer gathers the latest farming news from around the world. There have already been pretty big crop failures, as folks from India and Australia can readily tell you. (No, I'm not plugging for him, but he does some of the work for you so you don't have to pour over international news sources.)

Well that addresses the Climate change debate. I mean is anyone planning ahead for what's ACTUALLY going to happen? GSM means shorter growing seasons, excess rains in many areas, drought in others. Of course the politicians will try & play it off as man caused climate change. But we need to look at the past (1500-1800's) to plan ahead for massive crop failures, you know in reality land. Not BBC land.

like lots of things these finding the thruth is very hard, I remember in the 70's we were told we were entering a mini ice age, lots of folk making lots of money out of climate change

No, but I'll look him up, thanks. I'm kind of surprised how little attention this post is getting. This is pretty serious stuff. They've only been recording temperatures for a few hundred years but they've been observing sunspots for many more. These solar minimums happen at 200 or 400 year intervals. We're due. This isn't speculation or junk science like Global warming. This is actually going to happen. During these periods there was starvation on a massive scale. I'd have thought that would interest farmers a bit more. But maybe Al Gore and Thatcher hysterics have made people jaded?

Peter Temple explains this in 5:31 minutes.

John Casey, a former NASA scientist, (who actually tells the truth!), explains it in further detail, including the ramifications and what we need to prepare for. There has also always been a great increase in seismic and volcanic activity with grand solar minimums. Scientists don't know exactly why but it is a very strong correlation.

Anyway, if you're wondering why you're having crop failures and unpredictable weather, there you are. But you can only try to warn people you can't force them to care.
